As an Optician, you will be the resident expert for our patients for all things glasses. Be able to greet and identify the needs of the patient. Find, read and understand the insurance material benefits. Guide and discuss the different lens options and make a recommendation based on the needs of the patient. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking. You will greet patients as they arrive, sell glasses and collect payments. You will dispense the glasses, fit and adjust as needed. Responsibilities Greet customers as they arrive and provide excellent customer experience Assist patients' interpreting insurance materials benefits. Fit the patients with glasses based on what is best for their face and price range. Guide the patients through the complex world of glasses lens options Maintain a clean and inviting environment Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their service. Qualifications Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service Strong work ethic and positive attitude Familiar with computers and scheduling software Excellent multi-tasking skills Optical experience a plus There will be potential for growth in this position as the office grows.
