Job Description
Whiting Family Vision Care is seeking an upbeat, compassionate, trustworthy person to round out our team! To be a good candidate for this position you must be comfortable with not only computers but also with communicating, both on the phone and in person, with patients. As an optician you will walk patients through the process of frame selection, lens selection and then you will make the fee slip and collect payment. Knowledge of the optical field is highly regarded. You will dispense glasses and make sure they fit the patient well, this will require thinking on your feet and troubleshooting issues to benefit both the patient and the office. Must be detail oriented and good with numbers. Must enter contact lens and spectacle orders with extreme accuracy.
Hours for this position:
Mondays 10:00- 7:00 Tuesdays 9:00
- 3:00 Wednesdays 8:30
- 5:15 Thursdays 9:00
- 3:00 Fridays 8:30
- 5:15 No weekend hours.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$14.00- $18.
