As an Eyewear Consultant with MyEyeDr., you will provide personalized service while helping patients select eyewear, lenses, and vision-care solutions that fit their needs, lifestyle, and personal style. Previous optical experience is not required. MyEyeDr. provides the training, resources, and support needed to learn the optical industry and deliver an excellent patient experience. This position reports to the Office General Manager. Availability for some evening and weekend shifts is required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Welcome patients and provide friendly, professional, and attentive customer service. Learn about each patient's vision, lifestyle, insurance, and eyewear needs. Guide patients through the frame and lens selection process. Educate patients about available products, lens options, enhancements, and eyewear solutions. Explain vision insurance benefits and help patients understand their available coverage. Use company-provided training to properly fit, measure, adjust, and dispense eyeglasses. Build trusted patient relationships while contributing to office sales and performance goals. Partner with the Office Optometrist and clinical team to support each patient's prescribed vision needs. Collaborate with doctors, managers, technicians, and other team members to create a seamless patient experience. Represent MyEyeDr.'s values and commitment to personalized vision care. Assist with additional office responsibilities as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, healthcare, or a related customer-facing position is preferred but not required. No previous optical experience is required. A friendly, caring, and patient-focused personality. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Interest in learning about eyewear, lenses, vision benefits, and optical services. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A proactive approach to solving problems and assisting patients. Motivation to contribute to sales goals and overall office performance. Dependability and willingness to collaborate with doctors, managers, and team members. Availability to work some evenings and weekends.
