Modern office setting Full support staff Growth opportunities Duties- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect any ocular abnormalities or diseases.
- Prescribe corrective spectacle lenses and contact lenses (soft, RGP, Hybrid, Scleral) or other vision aids based on individual patient needs.
- Diagnose and manage various eye conditions, including refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns they may have. Skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and record keeping.
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of vision products to patients.
- Understanding of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during certain procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to establish rapport, provide comfort, and address patient concerns.
- Familiarity with ophthalmology practices and procedures for referral purposes.
- Adherence to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
Pay:
$550.00- $600.
