TSO Bluff Springs is an independently owned optometry practice in South Austin, and we need a licensed OD to cover a maternity leave this winter. The coverage period runs November 9, 2026 to February 9, 2027, but we're flexible on both ends. If you need to start a week late or wrap up early, just tell us and we'll figure it out. We're also growing, so if it goes well on both sides, there's a good chance this turns into something permanent. The schedule Monday through Friday, no weekends. We cap the day at 20 comprehensive exams. We don't double-book to hit a number, and nobody is going to ask you to rush an exam to catch up. What you'd be doing Comprehensive exams, contact lens fittings and evaluations, and basic medical eye care. What we need An OD degree from an accredited school and an active Texas license in good standing. Beyond that, we're looking for someone who's comfortable running their own clinic day and who's good with patients. New grads are welcome. If you're recently licensed and want somewhere reasonable to build up your speed, this is a decent place to do it. Compensation Negotiable, based on experience.
