Job Overview About Our Practice Established in 1987, Utah Eye Centers is a multispecialty ophthalmic and optometric practice with 17 providers across 5 locations along the Wasatch Front. We are a growing, well-established practice offering a fantastic opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial Optometrist who is eager to build a rewarding career. Position Summary We are seeking a talented, patient-focused Optometrist (OD) to join our expanding team. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong communication skills, an interest in the business side of optometry, and proficiency in full-scope clinical care. This position will be based out of our Jackson Wyoming location. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations Diagnose and assist in managing ocular disease Prescribe corrective lenses and vision therapies Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients Educate and counsel patients on vision health and treatment options Maintain detailed, accurate patient records, including diagnoses and treatment plans Requirements Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program Valid state licensure to practice as an Optometrist Experience or strong knowledge in ophthalmology, pediatrics, and optical care preferred Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology and coding Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and the use of medical equipment such as slit lamps and tonometers Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service and communication Ability to perform detailed examinations while maintaining aseptic technique standards Strong organizational skills for managing medical records and documentation efficiently
