Essential Duties and Responsibilities 911 Emergency Response Respond promptly and safely to 911 calls and other emergency requests for medical assistance. Perform systematic patient assessments and identify immediate or potentially life-threatening conditions. Provide emergency medical care within the employee's certification level and approved medical protocols. Stabilize, treat, and safely transport patients experiencing medical, traumatic, behavioral, pediatric, obstetric, and other emergencies. Continuously reassess patients and modify treatment when clinically indicated. Safely operate ambulances and emergency vehicles in emergency and non-emergency conditions. Communicate effectively with dispatch, receiving facilities, fire departments, law enforcement, and other responding agencies. Provide clear and concise patient reports and transfer of care to receiving healthcare professionals. Interfacility Transport Provide safe and appropriate transportation for patients transferring between hospitals, emergency departments, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, specialty facilities, and other healthcare locations. Review transfer documentation and assess patients prior to transport to ensure the appropriate level of care is maintained. Monitor patient condition throughout transport and promptly recognize changes requiring intervention. Maintain oxygen therapy, monitoring equipment, IV therapy, medications, and other treatments as authorized by certification level, protocol, and medical direction. Provide professional and compassionate care during routine, urgent, and higher-acuity transfers. Communicate significant changes in patient condition to medical control and/or the receiving facility when appropriate.

Pay:

$17.13 - $40.74 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 48.0 per week
