$15.17-$28.08 per hour Cedar Park Med is seeking a skilled and dependable Paramedic to provide basic life support and technical patient-care services in a clinical and medical transport environment. The ideal candidate will work effectively under pressure, exercise sound independent judgment, and communicate compassionately with critically ill patients and their families. Responsibilities Provide basic life support to critically ill patients during ambulance or helicopter transport Operate specialized clinical, laboratory, and emergency medical equipment Monitor, maintain, repair, and modify electronic and mechanical equipment as appropriate Manage the distribution and inventory of medical supplies, materials, and equipment Maintain accurate patient-care, supply, and equipment records Follow detailed clinical procedures and written and verbal instructions Perform precision tasks requiring attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination Make timely, independent decisions in high-pressure situations Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Relevant paramedic experience or training Current South Carolina Paramedic certification or eligibility to obtain it Current BCLS, ACLS, and BTLS certifications may be required based on the assignment Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds Ability to maintain concentration, work under pressure, and meet deadlines Ability to work effectively with severely ill patients, their families, and medical professionals Sufficient eyesight and color perception to perform assigned technical duties No time to submit an application?
