Monday- Friday:
Typical hours 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. No weekends or call.

This position is based within
Jefferson Regional Oncology Practice ClinicJob Summary:
The oncology patient navigator is a clinician who provides assistance to patients, families and caregivers to overcome barriers within the healthcare system. The navigator facilitates access to all available resources the patient may need for support. This role acts as a single point of contact between the patient, caregivers and clinical staff and coordinates appointments between the various departments.
Patient Navigator Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Masters Degree in Nursing preferred. Graduate for an accredited nursing program required. Graduate from an accredited advanced practice nursing program preferred. Current RN license with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing required. Preferred APRN Licensure with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing by passing either the AANP, ANCC, or AACN certification exams. Chemotherapy Certification preferred.
Regulatory Requirements:
BLS required upon hire or obtain within 30 days of hire, ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
