Utilizing their own health experience and a strong skill set in understanding and working through the healthcare system. As a Peer Navigator, you will work with newly diagnosed clients, clients lost to care, and clients currently in care providing them with your experience in the healthcare system. Your compassion and ability to relate to clients provide a level of comfort and trust to our clients. Combined with a thorough understanding of the Ryan White Care Act Program within their specific area, the Peer Navigator collaborates with their Case Management team, Healthcare Center Staff, and Providers so that every Ryan White patient receives the support they require and access to available resources. A Peer Navigator enhances the reputation of AHF by utilizing your own healthcare experience, you will meet our clients where they are, identify strengths and opportunities for growth, and assist them in reaching their goals.
