Full Job Description Summary:
Facility & Patient Advocate is responsible for fostering trusted relationships with our facility partners while ensuring every patient receives timely, compassionate, and coordinated vision care. By serving as the communication bridge between facilities, providers, patients, responsible parties, and internal departments, this role helps deliver exceptional patient experience, strengthen long-term partnerships, and support Mobile Vision Care's mission of providing outstanding eye care services to the communities we serve. Job Duties
Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned facilities
Build and maintain professional relationships with facility administrators, DONs, social workers, nursing staff, and business office personnel.
Coordinate provider schedules with facilities to maximize efficiency and patient availability.
Confirm the Provider census & schedule with facility a week prior to each on-site visit.
Notify facilities of schedule changes, provider delays, cancellations, or emergencies.
Coordinate special requests from facility staff.
Resolves facility concerns promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular communication with facilities to ensure satisfaction.
Identifies and addresses concerns before they negatively impact the business relationship. opportunities to improve service and patient care.
Serves as an advocate for patients throughout the continuum of care.
Assist patients and responsible parties with questions regarding services, appointments, eyeglasses, billing, and follow-up care.
Ensure patient concerns are addressed timely and compassionately.
Coordinate communication between patients, providers, operations, and facilities.
Help resolve patient complaints while maintaining excellent customer service.
Demonstrate professionalism and empathy during difficult conversations.
Encourages ongoing utilization of company services through exceptional service and responsiveness.
Escalates concerns appropriately while maintaining positive working relationships.
Seeks opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and enhance customer satisfaction.
Ensure required documentation is received before Provider's scheduled visit.
Assist facilities with HIPAA compliant exchange of medical records.
Ensure patient information is accurate and complete. Operational Responsibilities
Maintain accurate scheduling records.
Update scheduling software and internal systems
Track pending facility requests.
Coordinate follow-up visits
Monitor provider schedules for conflicts.
Assists with operational projects as assigned.

High School Graduate or associate's degree preferred
3+ years in healthcare operations, patient services, facility relations, or medical scheduling
Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
