PRN, as needed. Shifts are 0630AM to 7PM or 630PM to 7AM. Would prefer a candidate interested in day and night coverage. Opportunity for weekend and holiday shifts. Make a Difference Virtual Patient Safety Monitors will consistently monitor the patient environment for any potential harms i.e. bed low position, use of gait belt, tampering of IV pump, bed alarms etc.) and report to appropriate on-site care team member to address. This work will occur from a remote work location and use multiple methods of communication to interact with the patient and care team in the department. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs indirect patient care. Indirect patient care can include documentation, assist to reinforce patient/family education initiated by licensed provider or RN and orienting patients and staff to the unit. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving. High School diploma or GED required Ability to use a computer for documentation and work-related purposes Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills are required. Demonstrates accountability for own actions Provides service in a willing and courteous manner Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task. Able to take direction well but also be self-directed and motivated. Requires a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness.
