Responsibilities Safely transfer patients using appropriate patient transfer methods, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times Assist with patient mobility needs, including manual handling and lifting, following safe lifting practices Support patient safety by following safety protocols and implementing patient safety measures during transfers Use de-escalation techniques when necessary to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally Skills Previous experience in similar settings Strong communication skills Ability to perform lifting and manual handling safely while maintaining proper body mechanics Experience with safety protocols and de-escalation techniques enhances your effectiveness in this role
