MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Department. 2. Utilizes RIS to properly check-in and check-out patients. 3. Demonstrates basic knowledge of IVAC pumps, drainage devices, catheters, restraints and oxygen tanks. 4. Demonstrates proficiency with regards to stretchers/carts, wheelchairs, O2 tanks, transfer devices and personal protective equipment. 5. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate and provide a safe environment for infants, pediatric, Adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Visual acuity must be within normal ranges. 3. Must be able to position, lift, move patients of all weights with varying amounts of assistance in a fair manner on a regular and recurring basis. 4. Frequent walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and feeling are necessary body movements utilized in performing duties throughout the work shift.
