In this role, you will deliver specialized Pilates-based exercise programs designed to support clients' recovery, improve mobility, and enhance overall physical function. Your expertise will help clients regain strength, stability, and confidence through tailored sessions that emphasize proper body mechanics and biomechanics principles. Restorative Movement Studio is more than a Pilates Studio, it is a place where clients come to heal. Our knowledgeable instructors work with our clients on short term and long term goals to restore healthy movement and break down patterns of compensation that often lead to dysfunction and pain. Our sessions typically include a combination of fascia release, neuromuscular training to stabilize, and pilates work to strengthen. Responsibilities Restorative Sessions at the studio are all Private or Duet Sessions and normally include a mixture of guided fascia release, neuromuscular training, and pilates exercise. Design and implement personalized Pilates rehabilitation programs aligned with clients' medical conditions and fitness goals Demonstrate exercises clearly, providing hands-on guidance and practice opportunities to maximize client understanding and effectiveness Assess clients' physical capabilities, progress, and limitations regularly to adapt programs accordingly Educate clients on body mechanics, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and injury prevention strategies Maintain detailed records of client sessions, progress notes, and program adjustments for ongoing evaluation Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists or sports coaches to optimize client recovery plans Requirements Candidate must have tested out through a fully Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Course Continued education in rehabilitative pilates work Ideally has continued education or certification in some fascia release work such as the Roll Model Method, MELT Method or other course Ideally a Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor Proven experience in Pilates instruction with a focus on rehabilitation or physical therapy settings Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to injury recovery CPR certified Carry personal liability insurance policy Ability to demonstrate exercises effectively while providing constructive feedback for practice improvement A passion for helping clients achieve their health goals is essential
