Certified Personal Trainer - Women's Health Focus Bloom Pelvic Health & Wellness - Needham, MA Flexible Hours | Specialized Clinical Environment | Mission-Driven Team Executive Summary Bloom Pelvic Health & Wellness is expanding its multidisciplinary women's health team and seeking a Certified Personal Trainer with a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and functional movement—ideally with experience supporting women across the lifespan. This role supports clients through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. The trainer will deliver individualized and group fitness programming aligned with pelvic health principles, core and pelvic floor safety, and whole-body wellness. Job Summary The Certified Personal Trainer will design and deliver safe, effective, and empowering fitness programs tailored to women's unique physiological needs. Working within a pelvic-health clinical setting, this role goes beyond traditional gym training—supporting clients recovering from birth injuries, managing pelvic pain, rebuilding core function, navigating menopausal changes, or striving for general strength and mobility. This position includes flexible hours, collaborative clinical support, and the opportunity to shape an expanding wellness program within a growing women's health practice. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesClient Evaluation & Program Design Conduct comprehensive assessments including movement screening, posture, mobility, strength, and pelvic-health-informed risk factors. Develop customized fitness programs aligned with life-stage needs (pregnancy-safe modifications, postpartum return-to-exercise protocols, menopausal strength strategies). Integrate core and pelvic floor-aware programming using evidence-based approaches. Training & Instruction Lead 1:1 personal training sessions emphasizing proper technique, breath coordination, pressure management, and injury prevention. Provide small-group sessions or specialty classes (prenatal fitness, postpartum strength, core & pelvic floor training). Educate clients on exercise form, self-monitoring, recovery strategies, and long-term wellness habits. Client Progress & Support Track progress using measurable goals, functional benchmarks, and individualized milestones. Adjust programs based on client feedback, clinical findings, and changes in health status. Collaborate with pelvic floor physical therapists and clinicians to support integrated care plans. Community Engagement & Growth Promote Bloom's wellness programs, memberships, and training services to prospective clients. Contribute to content, workshops, or community events focused on Women's Health fitness. Maintain a safe, organized studio environment aligned with clinic standards. Professional Development Stay current with research, certifications, and evolving best practices in women's health fitness, prenatal/postpartum training, and pelvic-health-informed movement. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and functional training. Demonstrated ability to design programs for diverse women's health populations (prenatal, postpartum, pelvic pain, menopausal, general wellness). Proven experience in personal training and/or group fitness instruction. Excellent communication, teaching, and motivational skills. Ability to adapt programs to individualized needs, symptoms, and movement limitations. Sales acumen and comfort promoting services within a boutique wellness environment. Certification from a recognized personal training organization (NASM, ACSM, ACE, NSCA, etc.) required. Additional training in prenatal/postnatal fitness, Pilates, yoga, or pelvic-health-focused certifications is a strong plus. What We Offer Flexible scheduling ideal for part-time, growing clientele.
