•The Studio is seeking a motivated, professional, and client-focused Certified Personal Trainer to join our growing team. We are interested in candidates with a strong background in strength training, resistance training, powerlifting, or other performance-focused training, as well as an interest in helping clients improve strength, mobility, movement quality, and overall fitness. The ideal candidate is confident working with resistance equipment and heavier loads, understands proper lifting technique and exercise progression, and can adapt training appropriately to each client's experience, goals, and abilities. Reporting to the Studio Manager and Founder, this is a non-exempt, commission-based position focused on delivering individualized personal training and an elevated client experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct fitness assessments, orientations, stretching sessions, and personal training sessions. Design and deliver safe, effective, individualized training programs based on each client's goals, abilities, and needs. Demonstrate proper exercise technique, equipment use, lifting mechanics, and appropriate exercise progressions. Provide strength and resistance training, including experience working with heavier loads when appropriate for the client. Build and maintain a consistent personal training client base in alignment with Studio standards. Deliver attentive, professional, and individualized service to every client. Maintain accurate client information, schedules, session notes, and payments within WellnessLiving. Adjust and properly operate Studio fitness equipment and maintain an organized, safe training environment. Maintain familiarity with Studio services, offerings, policies, and procedures. Provide a high level of hospitality, professionalism, and communication to current and prospective clients. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Communicate professionally and promptly with clients and team members. Participate in team meetings, shadowing, mentorship, and ongoing professional development. Support additional Studio operational needs as directed by Studio leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current nationally recognized personal training certification. Current CPR/AED certification. Two or more years of personal training experience is preferred. Strong background in strength training, resistance training, powerlifting, weightlifting, or similar training disciplines preferred. Demonstrated understanding of safe lifting technique, exercise selection, progressive overload, and appropriate load management. Comfortable working with barbells, dumbbells, cable systems, machines, and other resistance-training equipment. Ability to safely demonstrate exercises and assist clients with equipment and weights. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including timely and professional communication with clients and team members. Strong organizational skills, time management, self-management, attention to detail, and follow-through. Ability to independently manage scheduling, client relationships, and day-to-day responsibilities. Professional, dependable, welcoming, and comfortable working independently. Comfortable using technology and learning Studio systems, including WellnessLiving. Commitment to building a personal training practice while continuing to develop professional knowledge and expertise. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the ability to safely perform and demonstrate common strength and fitness exercises; operate and adjust fitness equipment; move, carry, and reposition exercise equipment and weights; and remain physically active throughout training sessions.
