Job Description

We are excited to have the first StretchLab franchise in Missouri and to have already opened two of three studios in the St Louis area! We are hiring qualified, energetic, people oriented, empathetic candidates to join our team and be a part of providing world class assisted stretching sessions. StretchLab, a unique fast-growing wellness concept, is the industry leader in offering customized one-on-one assisted stretching sessions. In our studios, stretching professionals work with client members to identify tightness and imbalances and then customize specific stretch routines. StretchLab's proprietary Flexologist™ training is an intensive and thorough program that each of our Flexologists must complete. During the required 60-70+ hours of theory and hands-on training, Flexologists learn the muscular system, a variety of one-on-one assisted stretches and how to work with clients of all ages and body types.
YOU ARE / HAVE /DO
  • 1 year + experience in the fitness, health or wellness industry where you provided hands on training with clients
  • Current certification as a yoga, Pilates, or Barre instructor; a personal or athletic trainer; physical therapist or physical therapy assistant; chiropractors' assistant; massage therapist OR bachelor's degree in sports medicine, kinesiology, human biomechanics or related field

  • Must be available to timely complete our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in-person/hands-on workshop training as well as and additional 20 hours of in-person hands practice
YOU WOULD
Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and lead group stretch classes (if and when they may be offered in our studios) Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions providing feedback and homework Build our StretchLab St Louis area membership and retain current clients and members using some sales techniques Manage client care effectively:
  • Delivering a best-in-class stretching experience
  • Booking client's weekly recurring appointments
  • Updating client notes consistently and following each session
  • Maximizing client use of sessions/membership by booking follow up appointments, renewing memberships, reaching out to leads Ensure safety of yourself and clients when working by using proper stretch techniques and enforcing policies and safety rules Attend staff meetings and educational presentations Handle member concerns when applicable Assist sales associates, leads, managers and Franchise Owners as needed Maintain strong social media presence to assist with membership and retention Clean and maintain all equipment (and the premises as needed) to ensure availability and excellent member/client experience We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, marital status, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other characteristics protected by law.
