Job Description

Sportset Health & Fitness Club in Rockville Centre is hiring part-time group fitness instructors. We are family owned, 45,000 square feet, and 40+ years in this town. Our members are loyal and our rooms are full. Most of our instructors have been here for years. We are looking for the next one. What you would teach We are adding instructors in these formats: Dance Cardio Bootcamp HIIT Functional Movement Strength & Conditioning Body Sculpt You do not need to teach all of them. Tell us the two or three you teach best. Pay $40 to $50 per class, based on your experience and the format you teach. What you get Free full club membership Equipment and sound that work, every time A director who answers her texts Members who know your name and book your class ahead What we need from you At least 1 year teaching group classes Current group fitness certification: NASM, ACE, AFAA, or equal Current CPR/AED certification Your own liability insurance On time, every class, with a plan What a great class looks like here You warm people up, work them hard, and cool them down. You cue clearly, so a first timer and a 10-year member both know what to do. You bring your own music and set up your own equipment. You learn names. You change up your routines so the regulars never get bored. You watch the room and offer options for people who need them. Schedule Part time. We are filling Wednesday mornings between 9am-10:30am.
