Bellefonte YMCA | YMCA of Centre County The Bellefonte YMCA has immediate openings for part-time Personal Trainers to fill a variety of shifts throughout the week. Personal Trainers use their fitness and training knowledge to guide and assist members with fitness equipment while providing personalized attention, support, and motivation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others reach their fitness goals and creating a welcoming environment for members. Responsibilities Instruct members on the safe and proper use of fitness equipment. Identify unsafe techniques, provide corrections, and recommend alternative exercises when appropriate. Conduct personal training sessions as needed. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the fitness facility and equipment. Report incidents, concerns, or facility issues to the Wellness Director. Greet members enthusiastically and maintain a positive, welcoming attitude. Build positive relationships with members and provide excellent member service. Qualifications Current Personal Trainer Certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and encourage individuals with a variety of fitness levels and backgrounds. Commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive fitness environment.
