Job Description
Wiregrass Community Pharmacy in Ashford, Alabama is currently seeking a Full Time Pharmacist . The Pharmacist shall be responsible for all aspects of pharmacy operations within his/her store including inventory, personnel and security with emphasis on customer relations. Essential Functions will include, but not limited to: Openly communicate with patients while protecting their confidential health and drug information; To provide counsel to patients having medical questions; Maintain inventory levels by following defined ordering practices through vendors; Supervise and direct work of pharmacy technicians and/or interns; Requires the ability to understand, interpret, and implement oral and written instructions according to policy and Federal and State law; Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, dentists, nurses and others in health related fields to better serve our customers; Must be able to solve mathematical problems; Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple problems simultaneously; Must be able to stand for long periods of time; Must be able to Understand, instruct, and oversee confidential procedures in compliance with HIPAA. Skills Proven experience as a pharmacist Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc. Good organization skills Excellent communication skills with a customer oriented approach Integrity and compassion Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology Valid license to practice pharmacy in the
