This energetic position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in pharmacy informatics, data management, and clinical systems to improve ambulatory care processes. As a key contributor, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement, support, and refine Epic Willow solutions tailored for outpatient pharmacy settings, ensuring seamless integration with hospital and clinical workflows. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of medication management, safety protocols, and clinical decision support across diverse healthcare environments. Duties Analyze and configure Epic Willow Ambulatory modules to meet the specific needs of outpatient pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices. Collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and pharmacy personnel to design workflows that enhance medication dispensing, inventory management, and adverse event reporting. Support the implementation of automated dispensing systems and integrate them with Epic Willow to streamline medication distribution processes. Conduct data collection, mining, and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements, optimize database management, and support pharmacovigilance research initiatives. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, updates, and user procedures while providing ongoing training and support to end-users. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to EMR/EHR (Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Health Records) systems and ensure data integrity across clinical information systems. Stay current with ICH guidelines (International Conference on Harmonisation), drug regulation standards, and healthcare IT developments to ensure system compliance and best practices. Qualifications Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification Required Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related healthcare field; pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience highly preferred. Demonstrated experience practicing as a pharmacist within hospital or ambulatory settings with a strong understanding of clinical pharmacy operations. Extensive knowledge of pharmacy information systems (PIS), EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic Willow Ambulatory modules, and healthcare IT infrastructure. Proven expertise in data management, database management experience, data analysis skills, and data mining techniques relevant to clinical trials or pharmacovigilance research. Familiarity with adverse event reporting processes, drug regulation standards, automated dispensing systems, and medical terminology used in acute care environments. Strong IT skills including troubleshooting hardware/software issues related to clinical information systems and proficiency in working with databases and healthcare databases. Excellent communication skills for training users on complex systems and documenting technical procedures clearly.
Pay:
