Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 250-bed hospital in Redding, CA, is seeking a qualified pharmacist to support their pharmacy team on a contract basis, with potential for temp-to-hire conversion. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment using leading pharmacy systems, including Cerner and Omnicell, while delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses to optimize patient therapy, and managing pharmacokinetics services. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient safety, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active California pharmacist license Willingness and flexibility to travel and work in northern California regions Experience with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred Strong clinical knowledge, with PGY1 residency completion considered a significant advantage Positive attitude and effective leadership skills

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week Variable days and afternoon shifts to meet department needs
