PHARMACIST - PART-TIME

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team at our Paramount or Norwalk, California locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for flexible scheduling while maintaining meaningful clinical involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with all state and federal regulations Counsel patients on medications, side effects, and proper usage Perform Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services and clinical consultations Verify prescriptions and collaborate with healthcare providers Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with California Board of Pharmacy standards Support inventory management and pharmacy operations Build relationships with patients and contribute to community health Participate in ongoing continuing education and professional development

Requirements:

Current, active California pharmacy license (PharmD required) Fluent in Spanish (verbal and written)

Availability:

2-3 days per week, with most Saturdays available Ability to perform clinical pharmacy services including MTM consultations Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach Proficient in pharmacy management systems and technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with independent or retail pharmacy operations Prior MTM program participation or training Experience working with diverse patient populations Knowledge of PBM programs and insurance coordination Telehealth MTM experience
