Role:

Cheshire Pharmacy is looking for a passionate and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our team in Cheshire, CT! Responsibilities:

Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance Dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper medication use and safety Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy staff including technicians and support personnel Manage inventory, ordering, and controlled substance recordkeeping Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws and HIPAA regulations Build strong relationships with patients, prescribers, and the local community Monitor and improve pharmacy performance metrics, including prescription volume and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required Active Connecticut Pharmacist license in good standing Previous pharmacy management or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of retail/community pharmacy operations and POS/dispensing software Excellent patient counseling and communication skills Ability to manage staff, delegate tasks, and foster a positive team environment Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
