This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical expertise, manage pharmacy operations, perform and oversee compounding operations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be empowered to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a supportive environment that values continuous learning and professional growth. Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws, including drug regulation and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy and provide personalized counseling on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions. Manage pharmacy operations efficiently by overseeing inventory management, compounding medications using aseptic techniques, and ensuring compliance with USP 797, 795, and 800 standards for sterile/ non-sterile preparations. Utilize pharmacy software and Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Electronic Health Record (EHR), and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document patient care activities accurately. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy, support clinical pharmacy services, and ensure adherence to healthcare compliance policies like HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Lead or participate in managing pharmacy teams, including supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting staff to maintain high standards of patient service and pharmacy operations. Skills Demonstrated critical care experience with a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Experience with IV infusion, aseptic technique, and medication administration. Extensive knowledge of pharmacy laws at the state and federal levels, drug regulation processes, and healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA. Skilled in managing pharmacy information systems (PIS), EMR/EHR systems, inventory management tools, and pharmacy software platforms. Exceptional patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse client populations across community or hospital settings. Experience in managing pharmacy teams, supervising pharmacy technicians, and leading clinical initiatives related to pediatrics or pain management. Basic life support (BLS) certification complemented by hands-on experience with immunizations and acute care procedures. Pay:
