Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This role requires a licensed pharmacist with specialized expertise in sterile compounding to support infusion pharmacy patients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Combining clinical pharmacy services, regulatory compliance, and leadership, you will play an integral role in ensuring safe, high-quality medication preparation and distribution.

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30

13+ weeks contract-to-hire
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders with accuracy. Perform and oversee sterile compounding adhering to USP and USP standards. Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations to ensure safety and compliance. Review medication profiles for allergies, interactions, dosing, and compatibility. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members. Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support personnel. Maintain cleanroom standards, aseptic techniques, and environmental monitoring. Participate in quality assurance, medication safety initiatives, and regulatory audits. Maintain comprehensive documentation for compounding, batch records, quality, and compliance. Assist in inventory management, controlled substances handling, and overall pharmacy operations. Support policy development, procedure refinement, and staff training programs. Engage in staff meetings and professional conferences to stay current in best practices.
Qualifications:
Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing. Minimum of one year of experience in hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding, compliant with
USP , USP
, DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations. Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities.
