This is a contract role designed for a professional adept at managing inpatient pharmacy operations during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and patient safety Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring as needed Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapies and patient care plans Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems to manage medication dispensing and inventory

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active Florida pharmacist license is required Prior experience in a hospital inpatient pharmacy environment Willingness and ability to work night shifts effectively Strong familiarity with Meditech and Pyxis pharmacy systems preferred

Schedule:

Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM 7 days on / 7 days off rotation This contract engagement begins immediately and lasts for approximately 13 weeks, offering dedicated professionals an opportunity to contribute critical pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital environment.
