  • Royal Care Pharmacy, a well-established community pharmacy in Port Saint Lucie, FL, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Dispensing:
  • Accurately dispense prescription medications while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Patient Counseling:
  • Provide counseling and advice to patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Customer Service:
  • Offer outstanding service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience at the pharmacy.
  • Prescription Verification:
  • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness for the patient.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with pharmacy technicians, other healthcare professionals, and insurance companies to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Assist with the management of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
  • Compliance:
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, and ensure the pharmacy operates within all legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Record Keeping:
  • Keep accurate records of patient information, prescriptions, and any other required documentation.
  • Health and Wellness Services:
  • Provide immunizations, health screenings, and other wellness services as required.
  • Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Licensure:
  • Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

  • High level of accuracy in all aspects of the job, especially in dispensing medications and maintaining records.
