Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A full-time pharmacist opportunity is available for a contract assignment lasting approximately two months. This role supports the pharmacy team by providing critical order verification and dispensing services to address a current backlog. The position is located onsite in Lawrenceville, GA.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Georgia pharmacist license required Maryland pharmacist license is a plus but not mandatory Experience in order verification and pharmacy dispensing preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pharmaceutical processes
Schedule:
Initial training with current pharmacists totaling a minimum of 15 hours, scheduled within 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., consisting of several half-day shifts Following training, 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling available, including coverage across a 24/7 timeframe Opportunity to work additional hours beyond 40 per week if desired
Responsibilities:
Perform order verification accurately and efficiently to support pharmacy operations Dispense medications in accordance with established protocols and patient safety standards Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely processing and alleviate backlog pressures Maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements
