Contract (13 weeks with possible extension)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM Potential weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense and manage medications in a hospital setting Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Monitor and adjust pharmacotherapy based on patient needs Provide expertise on nutritional support, IV therapy, and pharmacokinetics if applicable Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Active Illinois Pharmacist license required Minimum of 1 year recent hospital pharmacy experience Additional training or experience in nutritional support, IV therapy, and pharmacokinetics highly beneficial This role is well-suited for pharmacists who thrive in a smaller hospital setting and value a dynamic scope of practice including specialized medication management. The position offers a balance between structured weekday hours and flexibility with shift options and occasional weekend work.
