Job Description

This travel opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to provide dedicated support during an 8-week maternity leave coverage in Dighton, KS. The assignment runs from August 7 to October 2, offering a structured 1st shift schedule from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all pharmacy operations, including accurate medication dispensing and effective inventory management. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, as well as accreditation standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance medication therapy, immunization services, and overall patient care. Lead, mentor, and train pharmacy team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ensure thorough and accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications:

Active and clear Kansas Pharmacist license. Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings. Strong understanding of medication management and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively guide staff and interact with healthcare providers.

Schedule:
