Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to work in a specialty pharmacy environment focused on Medication Therapy Management (MTM). The role is based onsite in Port Allen, LA, with work performed in Baton Rouge. This position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement, beginning with a 13-week assignment plus potential extension or direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform pharmacist duties aligned with specialty pharmacy MTM processes Ensure accuracy and compliance in medication dispensing and production Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active Louisiana pharmacy license required Licensure in at least one of these states preferred, with willingness to reciprocate for Louisiana licensure if applicable: Alaska, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming Experience in retail and/or specialty pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations

Schedule:
