We offer an excellent network of career opportunities across the U.S. We are currently seeking a Weekend Pharmacist for a behavioral health hospital in Westborough, MA. You must be able to deliver superior quality in all that you do. We are seeking results-driven team player whose primary focus will put patient safety and care first. Qualified candidates must be passionate about providing a superior quality of care.

Hours:

20 hours per week M-F 3pm-7pm

Duties:

Order entry/verification ensuring appropriate pharmaceutical care is administered to patients of the hospital. Correctly preparing/labeling of all drugs and chemicals Ensure compliance with standards of The Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory bodies, including state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Automated dispensing machine experience preferred. Data order entry/verification proficient. Detail oriented and organized. Excellent communication skills with physicians and nursing staff. Pro-active, problem-solving individual that will work as a team, ability to work independently and meet financial, regulatory, and clinical goals as directed by management. Must be oriented and knowledgeable in the specialized functions of a psychiatric pharmacy.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. RPh or PharmD required.

License/Certification:

Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Massachusetts.

Physical Requirements:

Moderate to low physical demands.
