Primary Responsibilities Provides pharmaceutical care and medication therapy management to ensure safe, effective, efficient, and cost-effective medication use. Reviews patient-specific information, verifies medication orders, and oversees medication preparation, dispensing, distribution, and monitoring. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, patients, and caregivers to provide clinical guidance and medication education. Promotes quality, safety, and cost-effective medication utilization through continuous evaluation and improvement of pharmacy practices. Oversees and directs pharmacy technicians and other staff within the assigned area. Provides training, education, and preceptorship to new team members, students, and other learners as assigned. Participates in direct patient care and supports pharmacy operations across applicable settings. Ensures compliance with department policies, Board of Pharmacy regulations, and other applicable standards. Work Experience Education & Experience - Required Doctorate of Pharmacy Required (PharmD) unless graduated from U.S. School of Pharmacy in or before 2003 OR Foreign Equivalent. Maryland Pharmacist License. Education & Experience - Preferred 1 year of experience preferred. Schedule :
12:30-9pm, every 4th weekend requirement
Compensation Pay Range:
