Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to support long-term care pharmacy needs. This contract opportunity offers a work schedule primarily Monday through Friday with some weekend hours, providing flexibility within a 24 to 40 hours per week range.

8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Some weekends as required 24-40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Manage long-term care pharmacy operations and services Ensure accurate dispensing and medication management for specialty pharmacy patients Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities

Qualifications:

PharmD degree or MTM certification strongly preferred Immunization certification required CPR certification required Proven experience in pharmacy practice, particularly in long-term care settings Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills This contract lasts for 13+ weeks, offering a meaningful opportunity for a professional with a passion for patient care in a specialty pharmacy environment.
