• Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the pharmacy team, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring high performance and professional development. Oversee pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and adherence to pharmacy laws and regulations. Provide expert clinical guidance on medication therapy management, patient assessment, and complex drug regimens across diverse settings such as community, LTC (Long-Term Care), and hospital environments. Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulatory standards, including USP 797 for sterile compounding and HIPAA confidentiality policies. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care plans, including immunizations, pain management, and acute care interventions. Maintain accurate documentation within Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and EMR systems while safeguarding clinical confidentiality. Manage inventory control, drug regulation adherence, and procurement processes to ensure medication availability and safety. Header

• Skills

• Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy practice with a focus on critical care, pediatrics, or hospital settings. Proven ability to lead pharmacy teams effectively in fast-paced environments such as community or LTC pharmacies. Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws at the state and federal levels, including drug regulation and healthcare compliance standards. Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, PIS, EMR/EHR platforms, and aseptic technique for sterile compounding or IV infusion procedures. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on client communication, medication administration education, and medical terminology literacy. Critical care experience combined with skills in managing complex medication therapies like IV insertion/infusion and pain management. Ability to ensure pharmaceutical regulatory compliance while practicing within HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy. Pay:
