Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for a clinical pharmacist with strong inpatient experience looking to contribute in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will play a key role ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients, managing critical care medications, and supporting quality assurance processes.

8-hour shifts within pharmacy hours, 8:30 AM - 6:30

Contract Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient setting, focusing on critical care medication management, including drips and controlled substances Conduct medication therapy reviews and ensure accuracy and safety in drug administration Participate in quality assurance initiatives to meet regulatory standards and improve medication outcomes Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and medication protocols Complete required training modules (1-2 full days) prior to starting
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active South Carolina pharmacist license required 1 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years considered due to need for minimal training Familiarity with inpatient pharmacy operations, critical care medications, and controlled substances management Epic electronic health record experience is a plus Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices in pharmacy This 13-week contract position offers the chance to apply your clinical expertise in a supportive inpatient setting where patient safety and quality are paramount.
