Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable PRN Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy practice, with experience in both compounding and Long Term Care Pharmacy. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, managing medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. The Pharmacist will also play a crucial role in patient assessment and education, as well as medication management. Duties Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate medication therapy and health outcomes. Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and patient counseling. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized patient care plans. Manage inventory effectively, including ordering and restocking medications as needed. Utilize pharmacy software, EMR systems, and EHR systems for accurate record keeping and patient documentation. Administer immunizations as required. Compounding medications according to established protocols while adhering to aseptic techniques. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pain management strategies. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Experience in LTC pharmacy or compounding settings is preferred. Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
