Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time according to applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program What You'll Do Prepare and dispense medications as per physician requests following established policies Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and accurately transcribe into electronic records Compound and dispense sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals, including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition Manage controlled substances records and issue controlled medications Monitor patient drug therapies, checking for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing Assist with pharmacokinetics and renal dosing consultations Support medication safety initiatives, including adverse drug reaction reporting Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize medication use Maintain current pharmacist licensure and continuing education standards Supervise pharmacy support personnel and verify daily pharmacy operations What You Need Valid Texas Pharmacist License BLS or ACLS certification (AHA) PALS certification preferred Prior hospital experience highly preferred Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics, neonatal medications, and emergency medicine About the Assignment This assignment is at a leading hospital in Longview, Texas, dedicated to delivering excellent patient care through a collaborative, efficient pharmacy team.
