Job Description

Staywell Pharmacy is an independent, 4.9-star rated community pharmacy in Gainesville, VA, known for personal service and free local delivery. We're looking for a PRN pharmacist to pick up shifts on a flexible schedule — you tell us your availability.

Truly flexible PRN scheduling — fits around a full-time job or other commitments
Weekday shifts only, 9am-5pm — no nights, no weekends
Independent pharmacy: know your patients by name, no corporate metrics
$58•65 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
Counsel patients on medications, side effects, and interactions
Communicate with prescribers on clarifications and alternatives
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support smooth daily workflow
Maintain compliance with Virginia Board of Pharmacy regulations

Requirements:

Active Virginia pharmacist license in good standing (required)
Community/retail pharmacy experience preferred
Friendly, patient-focused approach
