This role involves inpatient pharmacy operations within a technologically advanced environment utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems. The assignment begins immediately and extends for at least 13 weeks, with potential to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inpatient order verification and ensure accuracy and compliance in medication dispensing Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff through clinical consultation Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize patient medication therapy

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current pharmacist licensure in Virginia Experience working in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings preferred Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams

Schedule & Location:
