Role Summary:

The Pharmacy Manager leads the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional customer service, manages inventory levels to prevent shortages, and ensures all medication dispensing complies with state and federal regulations. Must be a Registered Pharmacist and/or

Doctorate of Pharmacy Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Oversee daily operations, including prescription processing, workflow efficiency, and compliance with safety protocols.

Staff Leadership:

Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule pharmacy staff (pharmacists, technicians, and cashiers).

Inventory Control:

Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and monitoring for, and disposing of, expired medications.

Compliance:

Maintain strict compliance with DEA regulations for controlled substances and state board of pharmacy requirements.

Patient Care:

Provide consultation to patients on medication safety, dosage, and side effects.
