Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty pharmacy located in Bemidji, MN, is seeking a qualified pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis for approximately 13 weeks. This role involves providing comprehensive long-term care pharmacy services within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

Manage and dispense medications accurately in compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations Perform long-term care pharmacy duties, including medication therapy management Ensure patient safety through thorough review of prescriptions and identification of potential drug interactions Provide immunizations and other patient care services as required Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications:

PharmD degree required Immunization certification preferred CPR certification required Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy setting, specifically long-term care pharmacy Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work some weekends along with Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. schedule
