Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacist opportunity is available in a retail setting located in Dingmans Ferry, PA. This direct hire position offers variable day and afternoon shifts, averaging 69 hours biweekly, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the store operations team, driving associate engagement and communicating department and company strategies to pharmacy staff. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in line with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. Manage and grow the pharmacy business by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Work with the pharmacy District Manager to control inventory, track sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand. Align department performance with key measurable metrics for effectiveness and efficiency. Deliver excellent customer service, addressing medical-related inquiries and providing healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; oversee training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to build trust and loyalty. Interact with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription-related concerns. Keep the pharmacy clean and orderly; continuously review and develop department personnel to improve performance and control labor costs. Prioritize and complete pharmacy department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls on time.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License Current Pennsylvania Immunization License Location:
