10-hour shifts (typically 9am
7pm) 11-hour shifts (typically 9am
8pm) 12-hour shifts (either 8am
8pm or 9am
9pm) Variable day and afternoon shifts, totaling approximately 69 hours bi-weekly
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the store operations team to engage pharmacy associates and communicate department strategy. Ensure accuracy and compliance with prescriptions by performing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance per state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. Manage the pharmacy to foster profitability, increase prescription growth, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Control inventory levels by tracking weekly sales and ordering necessary pharmaceutical stock. Align department performance with key metrics related to effectiveness and efficiency. Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing medical-related inquiries and providing healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; oversee training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to build trust and loyalty. Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription or customer concerns. Oversee pharmacy cleanliness and organization; promote continuous staff development and manage labor costs. Prioritize departmental tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call processing.
Qualifications:
