  • Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead its Hazleton, PA location.
This full-time, direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic role managing pharmacy operations with an emphasis on clinical excellence and customer service.
Location:
Hazleton, PA (Retail pharmacy setting)
Schedule/Hours:
69 hours bi-weekly Variable shifts including: 10-hour shifts: typically 9am
  • 7pm 11-hour shifts: typically 9am
  • 8pm 12-hour shifts: either 8am
  • 8pm or 9am
  • 9pm
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a collaborative relationship with store operations and promote associate engagement. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance. Drive business growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Oversee inventory control by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand. Align departmental objectives with key performance metrics to optimize pharmacy effectiveness and efficiency. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and performance management. Manage pharmacy security and maintain a clean, organized environment. Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints to build trust and loyalty. Collaborate with physicians and utilize resources to resolve prescription issues. Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and managing will-calls.
Qualifications:
