This role requires hands-on experience in inpatient pharmacy operations within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inpatient pharmacy duties including sterile and non-sterile compounding with strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Restock and manage Pyxis automated dispensing units to ensure timely medication availability. Respond promptly and professionally to calls and requests directed to the pharmacy, assisting nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. Assist with inventory management, labeling, and preparation of medications as required.

Schedule and Location:

Variable shifts covering days and afternoons to accommodate hospital needs. Every other weekend schedule to support continuous pharmacy coverage. Position based in a hospital setting serving Ventura County.

Desired Qualifications:

Pharmacy Technician certification and relevant state licensure. Experience working in a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting preferred. Proficiency in sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques. Familiarity with Pyxis automated dispensing systems. Strong communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
