35 hours/week.

The pharmacy is open from 9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday and 9:00AM to 2:00PM on Saturdays. You would be required to work one to two Saturdays per month. This position is looking for a compounding pharmacy technician responsible for making non-sterile preparations such as suspensions, capsules, creams, and suppositories under direct supervision of a pharmacist. There are minimal patient interactions or phone calls. Prescription Compounding, Preparation, & Processing

On the job training available for motivated applicants who do not have compounding experience
Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of custom medications in accordance with Beacon Prescriptions policies and procedures, and in accordance with state regulations
Performs basic and intermediate level mathematical and pharmaceutical calculations in order to obtain correct dosages of medications
Performs basic computer skills
Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the compounding laboratory and equipment
