Fill Pill Pharmacy - Hallandale, FL Full time / Part time - 20 to 40 hours per week
Compensation:
$18-25 per hour About Fill Pill Pharmacy Fill Pill Pharmacy is a community pharmacy specializing in non-sterile compounding and direct-to-patient telehealth fulfillment. We prepare personalized medications for areas such as dermatology, pain management, hormone therapy, wellness, and sexual health. We are seeking a detail-oriented pharmacy technician with hands-on non-sterile compounding experience. The ideal candidate understands that accurate documentation, clean technique, careful calculations and consistent procedures are essential to workplace and patient safety. Responsibilities
Prepare non-sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision.
Compound dosage forms including creams, ointments, gels, troches, tablets, capsules, and suppositories.
Accurately weigh, measure, triturate, mix, mill, transfer, and package ingredients.
Follow approved master formulation records and complete compounding records
Perform and independently verify calculations within the technician's authorized role.
Record ingredient lot numbers, expiration dates, quantities, yields, equipment used, and processing information.
Generate labels and prepare medications for pharmacist verification.
Clean and maintain compounding rooms, equipment, work surfaces, and utensils.
Follow appropriate garbing, hygiene, cleaning, and contamination-control procedures.
Assist with hazardous-drug handling when properly trained and assigned.
Receive, inspect, organize, and rotate Ingredients, packaging components, and supplies.
Monitor inventory levels and identify expired, damaged, recalled, or quarantined items.
Assist with packaging and preparation of temperature-appropriate, tamper-evident patient shipments.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
Maintain safe workplace environment and follow all OSHA standards.
Support data entry and general pharmacy workflow when needed. Required Qualifications
Current Florida pharmacy technician registration in good standing.
At least [1 year] of hands-on non-sterile compounding experience.
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, metric measurements, percentages, ratios, and concentration conversions.
Ability to follow written formulations and standard operating procedures exactly.
Strong attention to detail and documentation.
Comfortable using balances, mixing equipment, electronic records, and compounding pharmacy software.
Reliable attendance and ability to work on site in South Florida.
High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications
National certification through PTCB or NHA.
Experience in a 503A compounding pharmacy.
Familiarity with USP <795> and USP <800>.
Experience handling non-sterile hazardous drugs.
Experience using electronic compounding software.
Experience with Pharmetika Electric Lab, Unguator systems, planetary mixers, ointment mills, or similar equipment.
Experience with telehealth or mail-order fulfillment. Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks.
Manual dexterity sufficient to handle powders, liquids, utensils, molds, and packaging components.
Ability to wear required gowns, gloves, masks, and other personal protective equipment.
Ability to lift and move supplies weighing up to approximately 40 pounds. What We Offer
